[Your site] ([your URL]) is committed to making its services usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. If any part of our service is difficult or impossible to use, tell us through our feedback form (link this text to your Compliance Desk request page) or at [contact email]. You will receive a reference number and a status link, and we respond within 14 days with what we did or an alternative way to complete your task. Where a national authority handles accessibility complaints in your country, you may also contact it.

What the law asks for

• The European Accessibility Act has applied since June 28, 2025 to e-commerce, banking, e-books, transport ticketing and other services offered to EU consumers; providers must publish accessibility information and handle complaints, with national authorities enforcing. Micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 staff and under 2 million euro turnover) providing services are exempt from the requirements themselves.
• The US DOJ rule for state and local government websites (WCAG 2.1 AA) now has compliance dates of April 2027 for larger entities and April 2028 for smaller ones, after the interim final rule of April 20, 2026; HHS applies similar duties to recipients of federal health funding on its own timeline.
• A working feedback channel with a tracked response is the part most small organisations lack; a statement without a mechanism does not satisfy either regime.
