The plain-language notice Section 3 of the TAKE IT DOWN Act requires every covered platform to publish: what people can request, how to submit it, and what happens within 48 hours. Notice and removal of nonconsensual intimate imagery ([Site name])

[Site name] ([https://example.com]) does not permit intimate images or videos of a person published without that person's consent, including images that were digitally created or altered. If you are depicted in such content on our service, or you are the parent, guardian or authorized representative of someone who is, you can ask us to remove it. You do not need an account.

How to submit a request: use our request form at [your request page URL] or write to [contact email]. Please include your name and a way to reach you, the exact location(s) of the content, a brief description that lets us identify it, a statement that you believe in good faith the content was published without consent, and your signature (typed is fine).

What happens next: you receive a ticket number and a status link. We remove valid reports and any known identical copies within 48 hours of a complete request, and we tell you the outcome. Reports involving minors can also be made through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Take It Down service; adults can use StopNCII.org to prevent re-uploads across participating platforms.

This process is provided under Section 3 of the TAKE IT DOWN Act, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission.

What a TAKE IT DOWN Act Notice must contain

Clear and conspicuous, in plain and easy-to-understand language, placed where people will look for it: the home page footer, help or safety pages, and near user uploads.
Who may request: the identifiable individual depicted, or a person authorized to act on their behalf (including a parent or guardian of a minor); no account may be required.
What a valid request contains: a physical or electronic signature; identification of the intimate visual depiction and information sufficient to locate it; a brief statement of good-faith belief that it was published without consent; contact information.
What you commit to: removal within 48 hours of a valid request and reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies.
Basis: Section 3 of the TAKE IT DOWN Act (Public Law 119-12), binding on covered platforms since May 19, 2026 and enforced by the FTC as a rule violation.
