How do I report a deepfake of me on Instagram, X, TikTok or a deepfake website?

Start with the platform's own reporting flow, since major platforms are covered by the TAKE IT DOWN Act and had to publish a plain-language removal process by May 19, 2026. Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Reddit and Snapchat each offer a "non-consensual intimate imagery" or "sexualized deepfake" report option, and the FTC sent warning letters in May 2026 reminding companies of the 48-hour deadline. Whatever form you use, include the elements the Act requires: your signature, the exact URLs, a good-faith statement that the content is nonconsensual, and contact information, so the request counts as a valid notice. For a standalone deepfake site, look for a removal or abuse email, and send the same notice to its hosting provider and to Google's removal form so the pages drop out of search.
