The deadline clock is the statutory period a recipient has to act once a request is received, and it differs by regime: 48 hours for a valid TAKE IT DOWN Act removal request; without undue delay for a DSA notice; 10 to 14 business days to restore content after a DMCA counter-notice; 45 days, extendable once, for a CCPA request to know, delete, or correct; 15 business days for a CCPA opt-out; one month, extendable by two, for a GDPR request; 10 business days for CAN-SPAM opt-outs and TCPA consent revocations; and 30 days for company-specific do-not-call requests. The clock starts at receipt of a complete request.
