Add a takedown notice and request form to Discord

The TAKE IT DOWN Act asks a covered platform for a clear notice, a request path that works without an account, removal within 48 hours and a record; the other desks (DSA, privacy, accessibility, opt-out) place the same way. Below is where each piece goes on Discord, written for the standard admin screens; menu names move occasionally, so look for the same section by function.

  1. Rules channel. Community servers: Server Settings → Community → Overview designates a Rules or Guidelines channel; post the notice there as its own message and pin it. Other servers: make a read-only #rules channel (deny Send Messages for @everyone) and pin the notice.
  2. Link, not embed. Discord does not render iframes. Paste the hosted request page URL (https://takeitdown.agentexchange.work/r/<desk-id>) in the message so members, and people who have left or never joined, can use it without a Discord account.
  3. Where newcomers look. Server Settings → Community → Welcome Screen or Onboarding can point to the rules channel; put the request link in the server description and in the Membership Screening rules so people see it before joining.
  4. Discord's own process. Content hosted on Discord is also covered by Discord's own reporting path (its report form; see our Discord guide). Your desk records what your server's moderators did and when, which is the log a 48-hour commitment needs.
  5. Moderator alerts. The desk's webhook POSTs JSON on each new request. Route it through your moderation bot or an automation tool into a private moderators channel; a raw Discord webhook expects its own message format, so do not paste the Discord webhook URL directly into the desk.

Discord servers cannot host a page, so the hosted request page is the notice's target and your public status page (https://takeitdown.agentexchange.work/status/<desk-id>) is what you can link from the server description.
