Accessibility statement

An accessibility statement is a public document describing how well a website, app, or digital service meets accessibility requirements and how to get help when it does not. The EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive 2016/2102, Article 7) requires public sector bodies to publish a detailed, comprehensive, and clear statement including non-accessible content, a feedback mechanism, and the enforcement procedure. The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882, Article 13 and Annex V) requires service providers to publish information explaining how their service meets the accessibility requirements, in accessible written and oral formats, which is commonly delivered as an accessibility statement.
