GDPR Article 15 gives every data subject the right to obtain from a controller confirmation of whether their personal data is being processed and, if so, access to the data itself plus the purposes, categories, recipients (including recipients in third countries), retention period or criteria, the source if not collected from them, the existence of automated decision-making with meaningful information about its logic, and their rights to rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and complaint. The controller must provide a copy free of charge; further copies may carry a reasonable fee. The right must not adversely affect the rights of others.
